Here's one of my favorites, super rare Sexy Black 1992 9000 Aero -107k miles - 2 Owners - No Rust - Original Paint - Originated in Washington State - Lived in Florida since 1995 - This one had a throttle issue along with vacuum hoses that were all over the place.

Below are some pictures that will take you with me during one of my journeys along the eastern coast. My plan was to pick up a classic 900T convertible for parts and pick up vital parts from other donor SAABs along the way. It was a beautiful trip for the most part with some scary points at night due to deer popping up out of no where because I decided to take a secondary road on the way back. But Thanks God that all went well and for the wonderful experience that will live with me forever.

Finally!!! I arrived in The Empire State and picked up a 1993 Le Mans Blue Metallic 900 Turbo Convertible from a farm. Car ran like a horse, all intact but had serious rust.
Extremely exhausted I decided to hang out with the truckers and take a long needed rest.

Good morning New York... I'm back on the Road Again!
On my way back down south to the Sunshine State I made several stops and pulled parts from donor SAABs. The 9-5 was packed with parts and so was the 900T Convertible. Here I made a quick stop and pulled the Garrett Turbocharger and helped myself to a couple of other quick fixings. As you can see, unfortunately the 16" Aero wheels were already gone.
Long way home and with so many eyes on us I decided to do the car wash thing...
To all the SAAB enthusiasts, residents, motorists and law enforcement of NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA.... Thank you for the thumbs up, the beep beeps, the smiles and your support along Interstate I-95.

Hydraulic Hose Issues
If you own a convertible eventually you can be sure to find yourself in a messy and frustrating situation associated with the operation of you convertible roof top. All the hydraulic hoses used in your convertible top system will become compromised at one point or another. That's because hoses used by the manufacture are not of the best quality and have a life span of about 10 years, then you add 10 hot summer months to the equation and you can rest assure you have a recipe for convertible disaster. Compromised hoses will crumble, expand, kink and eventually burst leaving behind an oily residue throughout your car's interior that can end up costing you unnecessary expenses and leaving you without the main feature of your convertible, you now have No Top Down Syndrome.

1991 Cirrus White 900 Turbo Convertible - Rare 5-speed - Rescued 2011 with 97K - No 1st gear & Massive Rear Main Seal Leak - Swapped Tranny - New Clutch, TO Bearings, Slave Cylinder, All New Engine Seals & Belts - Reconditioned Engine - Enjoyed it for a while - Sold to a lady here in Florida to drive up to Connecticut - her mechanic said..."Wow this is a beauty, buy it, there's nothing wrong" :-)

1991 Cirrus White 900 Turbo Convertible - Borbet Wheels - 5 Speed Manual Transmission - Hard shifts
The Shift Coupling Link was virtually destroyed preventing the shifter to engage properly. The Taper pin was a huge challenge to remove but finally by way of heat and a drill it gave way
2007 Steel Grey 9-3 SS - This one's my sons' - Super duper kid, but I can't even drive his car... lol... he's sooo cheap with it, Anyways, got a Saab as his first car for High School Graduation. Surprise!!! Boy was he Happy!
